The value of your spit

Happy International Women’s Day!

Every day is human day, and I hope we can get to a place where recognition is a daily involvement of education, as opposed to just a few chosen days in the year. Systemic change happens with awareness as the first step, so here’s me shining a light for us to see together.

Last year (2021) for International Women’s Day (IWD), I was asked to be the keynote speaker for the IWD Gala with the Punjabi Community Health Services (PCHS).

When I was presented with this honour, I was a mixed bag of emotions and very stumped! The topic of this keynote is something we all had to reach deep within us to utilize over the last couple of years: Resilience.

I hope you take some time to give this a watch (20 mins), the title of this blog will make a heck of a lot more sense when you do! Feel free to share it with friends and loved ones.

Thank you so much for your time and kindness.
